Benefits of LED over LCD

Vibrance
Create real Impact, LED Displays are bigger and brighter with much richer colours. With an uninterrupted Direct Lit LED light which has no LCD glass or front facia, you have a seamless reflection free surface that really pops.

Brightness
LED wall displays are inherently brighter units. They are made up of thousands of very bright individual LEDs bulbs, designed to be visible in bright sunlight. Which is why LED displays are the best choice for all outdoor LED Display needs. For indoor use because LED is much brighter, it really packs a punch and stands out bright against LCD screens.

Durability
LED screens are made up of smaller individual modules/led panels which fix together to create a seamless large screen display. With LCD screens, even using the smallest of bezels the joins are still visible. Plus the thinnest the bezel the more delicate and fragile the screens are. If not handled with care they are easily damaged.

LED - Big Creativity
Using LED you can achieve a seamless screen, using LED modules, your creativity is endless. LED systems come in smaller cabinets than LCD screens which allows for more diverse sizing, which can also curve around a structure offering huge creative digital potential.
For example, you can create a box made with LED modules, shop frontages have been wrapped in LED screens, creating a real wow factor. Offering you quality products with local UK service and support. Our AV specialists and experienced installation team will provide a complete end to end service.

What is Direct Lit & Pixel Pitch?
Direct Lit, means the lights (bulbs) sit on the front of the screen, with LCD they are back lit. An LED Display is a large screen, made up of cabinets, within these cabinets sit a series of LED modules, these modules are made up of clusters of LED lights.
Resolution in LED technology is described as pixel pitch, this is the distance between each LED bulb cluster. The cabinets fit together with the modules to create a seamless large screen. LED Display screens offer more versatility in module size, than an LCD screen (usually set at 49” or 55”).
As the LED modules are smaller, they are easier to remove and replace. LED Displays are brighter than a regular LCD Video Wall screen, which in turn creates more impactful video wall displays with fantastic image quality.

What is needed for digital signage? To set up a digital signage system, you will need a few key components. Firstly, you will require a digital display, which can be a television screen, monitor, or video wall, depending on your needs. Secondly, you will need a media player or a digital signage player, which is a device that connects to the display and delivers the content. Additionally, you will need content management software to create, schedule, and manage the content on your digital signage display. Lastly, you will need an internet connection to connect the components and remotely manage the content.

What are the benefits of digital signage?Digital signage offers numerous benefits for businesses and organisations. Firstly, it allows for dynamic and engaging content delivery, capturing the attention of viewers and increasing the effectiveness of communication and advertising efforts. Secondly, it provides flexibility and ease of content management, allowing real-time updates, scheduling, and targeted messaging. How do digital signage systems work?Digital signage systems work by combining hardware, software, and connectivity to deliver content to digital displays. The process involves creating or sourcing the desired content, which can include images, videos, text, or interactive elements. The content is then uploaded and managed through a content management software, which allows for scheduling and distribution to the digital signage displays. The displays are connected to media players, which receive and display the content on the screens. The system can be controlled and monitored remotely, enabling updates and adjustments to the content in real-time.
